Prepare your startup for expansion with the Vienna Startup Package

The Vienna Startup Package is a prestigious international acceleration program that supports ambitious startups in entering the Austrian and Viennese markets through our partner organization, the Vienna Business Agency. The program is designed for teams up to 8 years old that build on technological or social innovations and have a scalable business model. Applications can be submitted until February 20, 2026.

Each year, up to 15 startups from around the world are selected for the program. For Czech and Slovak startups, which are represented annually, it provides a unique opportunity to leverage geographical proximity, strong economic ties, and Vienna’s rich innovation ecosystem.

The Vienna Startup Package offers comprehensive support combining financial contributions, expert advice, and targeted networking opportunities. Startups can receive up to EUR 3,000 for travel and accommodation costs, individual 1:1 business coaching valued at EUR 2,000, access to relevant networks and key stakeholders in Vienna, and participation in exclusive events, including the international startup festival ViennaUP.

The program takes place in two phases. The Spring Phase (May 2026) combines online preparation with mandatory in-person participation in Vienna. Startups focus on market entry strategy, goal definition, stakeholder mapping, B2B strategy development, pitch deck revision, and setting the market entry framework. Based on the results of this phase, selected startups are invited to the Autumn Phase, which includes a two-week stay in Vienna to deepen business relationships and strengthen their market position.
