Discover Vienna: Climate Tech 2025 — A gateway for Czech climate-tech startups 

Discover Vienna: Climate Tech 2025 is an international program launched by the Vienna Business Agency to connect promising startups in the field of climate technologies. From October 22–25, 2025, selected teams from around the world will gather in Vienna – one of Europe’s most advanced hubs of climate innovation – to build new connections and explore opportunities for expansion in international markets. 

Over the course of an intensive three-day program in Vienna, participants can look forward to a packed agenda. They will meet leading figures shaping Vienna’s climate-tech landscape, gain valuable first-hand insights, and discover new business opportunities in the heart of Europe. 

What does the program offer? 

• Meetings and networking with pioneers of Vienna’s climate-tech ecosystem 

• Connections with inspiring startups, international peers and potential business partners 

• Participation in the prestigious Climate Innovation Festival (hosted by thinkubator) – including the opportunity to take part in a pitching competition 

• Free accommodation in Vienna for one founder and travel reimbursement up to €200 

Who can apply? 

• Startups less than 5 years old 

• Startups with a working product (beyond prototype) and first paying customers 

• Startups developing solutions for climate change mitigation or adaptation (e.g. clean energy, sustainable mobility, circular economy, etc.) 

How to apply? 

Interested startups can apply until September 15, 2025. Simply fill out the short online application form on the official program website. Participation is free of charge – the organizers will provide accommodation and a travel stipend for the selected startups.
